Tender at the Bone by Ruth Reichl

Not normally my thing, but I had it on audio and needed something to listen to for a couple of long drives in July…

This was okay, but not memorable. I listened to it 3 months ago and the overall impression was just, “Meh.”

Also, I am apparently the only person that this book didn’t make hungry. Go figure.

  1. Did you read her first one? Garlic and Sapphires? Listen to it on audio, it’s the best of the bunch, but I do actually like her, so there ya go πŸ˜‰

    • I tracked them down, “G&S” was definitely the best of the three, but it was her latest book. She wrote the volumes of her memoir in chronological order, beginning with this one and ending (thus far) w/ “Garlic and Sapphires.”

      • Yeah, whatever order, it’s the first one *I* read so it’s the “first one”. Sheesh! πŸ˜‰

        I like her. So there.
