Dy's Take

Bad Twin by Gary Troup

Yes, I am a sad pathetic LOST fan and I actually read this.

Now I’m curious to know who ABC got to ghost it, because, while not stellar, I actually liked the central character and his introspection/self-observation (though there was far too much of it for a “real” PI novel…)

Now I’m just dying to know what clues to the show are imbedded in it that I just totally missed.

All in all an easy one-day read and while not something that is likely to shake up the PI genre, it was a pleasant read (with a refreshingly low violence quotient for a PI novel and almost all that off-screen (so to speak).

  1. Seriously, I need a new hobby, I’ve read all the Lost tie-in books I can easily get my hands on. I actually bought this one on audible.com – not a great story, of course, but it kept me interested and my ears open for any and all clues. http://lostpedia.com/wiki/Bad_twin gives a good lay down, some of which I caught… it also tied into one of my favorite theories, that they all have a twin on the island or that they are clones… of course, it also tied into the purgatory theory I have going too…
