It wasn’t as bad as the title led me to expect, I may even read more by this author, though not too quickly after finishing the last one – it’d be like too many sweets at once, y’know?

What can I say, I was STILL waiting for this to get good when I finished it. And realized that finishing it was the best part.

*shudder*
Yes, it was THAT bad.
Yes, a writer should show, not tell, but having your characters have long internal dialogues about what you want to show counts as telling, trust me on this one. Which is a darn shame, because the idea behind this series interested me, but it is so badly done I flat refuse to subject myself to any more. Life is too short to read bad writing!

Loved this. It was a little hard to get through, but worth it.

(1) <— New Year, new count. I keep a list on lists of bests for each year, but, well, I really like to keep track of what I’ve read, and how much I’ve read in any given period of time. What can I say, I’m particular like that.

But don’t hold that against it. I really enjoyed this, and hadn’t expected to.
