I’m not sure you can classify this book as anything–Southern Fiction, maybe?
I’m not a huge racing fan, but the premise of modern-day saints intrigued me, and I have lots of trivia to show off to my gearhead dh, so it’s all good

My senior class english teacher is a hudge Dale Jr. fan. She read St. Dale by Sharyn Mccrumb and thought that it was a wonderful book and related it to The Canterbury Tales. She thought that it wouldbe an excelent selection for her senior students to read, but had to have over 30 copies to fulfill the classroom needs. The school would not purchase them so she took it upon her self to e-mail Ms. Mccrumb and she was generous enough to send 30 some copies so that our school could enjoy her book. We are reading it rightnow andI think it is one of the best books I have everread at school for an assignment. I would like to thank her for sending us the copies.
